Dr. Norman Peitek received the GPP-sponsored university award for the Faculty of Computer Science for his master’s thesis on “A Neuro-Cognitive Perspective of Program Comprehension“
With this, GPP honors outstanding achievements of young computer scientists.

Andy Oertel received the GPP-sponsored university award for the Faculty of Computer Science for his master’s thesis on “Proving an Extremal Graph Coloring Theorem Using Linear Programming”.
With this, GPP honors outstanding achievements of young computer scientists.

TU Chemnitz and Society of Friends of the Technical University of Chemnitz e. V. will award nine university prizes for the best theses in 2020.
The university award sponsored by GPP for the Faculty of Computer Science goes to Dr. Stefan Kahl for his dissertation on the topic ” Identifying Birds by Sound: Large-scale Acoustic Event Recognition for Avian Activity Monitoring “.
With this, GPP supports the very illustrative application of artificial intelligence, one of the company’s fields of competence.
Germany Scholarship 2020/21
Also in the 2020/21 academic year, GPP supports the motivation and the resulting excellent performance of 2 students from the Faculty of Computer Science at Chemnitz University of Technology with their contribution to the Germany Scholarship.
GPP supports Scholarship program
In the academic year 2019/2020, GPP is again supporting a scholarship in the Faculty of Informatics as part of the Federal Scholarship Program of the Federal Government, thereby recognizing excellent achievements and personal commitment in the Master’s program.
